Why this matters: Before you can work in the US, Elevate must confirm that you are authorized to work. This is required by law and applies to all US Brand Ambassadors.
What you need to do
- Complete your I-9. You must complete Section 1 of the I-9 no later than your first day of work. Use your legal name exactly as it appears on your documents.
- Provide valid documents. You can provide one document from List A, or one document from List B and one document from List C. You choose which documents to provide. Elevate cannot tell you which ones to use.
What Elevate does
- Reviews your I-9
- Confirms work authorization through E-Verify
- HR handles any follow-up if something needs clarification
Important things to know
- This process is required for every US Brand Ambassador
- It must be completed on time or your assignment may be delayed
- If E-Verify needs more information, HR will contact you directly
- No action will be taken without notifying you first
What to avoid
- Do not submit documents late
- Do not use nicknames or shortened names
- Do not ignore messages from HR about your I-9
Need help?
If you are unsure what to do or encounter an issue, contact HR immediately. Do not guess or try to fix issues on your own.
Note: This quick guide is a practical summary. Work authorization verification must follow US federal requirements and Elevate policy.
