Elevate 1CRM has integrated with DocuSign to provide a better contracting process for temporary workers in Elevate Germany.
Moving forward, for your upcoming temporary worker assignments, once your booking is confirmed and up to two weeks before your scheduled shift, you will receive your contract through DocuSign. It is essential to sign the contract within the DocuSign platform. Elevate will then countersign the document, finalizing the booking contracting process. Please be aware that you won’t be able to start your shift until the contract is fully signed.
Each contract will cover one shift, but you could get an ‘envelope’ of multiple shifts contracts within it.
The contracting of temporary workers in Elevate DE requires Qualified E-Signature (QES). This means:
- You will need to verify your identity in order to sign contracts, which will require a physical (i.e. not digital) ID, and the use of a smartphone.
- Your 1CRM legal name and email address will be used in DocuSign to confirm it is you who is trying to sign the contract. This means it is essential you check your current legal name in 1CRM and ensure it matches your official ID legal name.
- (Keep in mind that you can use the 'Preferred name' field in 1CRM to inform the Elevate staffing team of your preferred name for daily use, as we understand that this may differ from your legal name.)
Process steps:
The temporary worker booking process in Elevate Germany is now the following:
1. Booking in 1CRM:
You will be booked into your shift/s in 1CRM as per usual. Once you are booked, you will continue receiving your ‘booking confirmation’ email, which will now let you know that the next step is the contract.
2. Contract issue:
When Elevate sends you the contract, you will receive an email from DocuSign letting you know that there is a contract that requires your signature.
3. DocuSign QES ID verification:
DocuSign QES ID verification is the process by which you prove that you are the person that needs to sign this contract, by comparing an ID to your face, and the name in the contract.
You will need to complete the DocuSign QES ID verification in the following scenarios:
- you are verifying your identity for the first time,
- you had previously verified your identity, but did not set up a 'Wallet' in DocuSign
- you had previously verified your identity, and set up a 'Wallet' in DocuSign, but the wallet data has expired.
If any of the above apply to you, then you will need to follow the steps below. Otherwise, you will be able to continue to Step 4.
You must have an ID with you, and use a smartphone, to complete this process.
DocuSign QES ID verification process steps:
- Follow the link to DocuSign portal
- Accept DocuSign’s Terms & Conditions
- Select ID type and country, and authorise the use of your phone’s camera
- Show your ID to your phone’s camera as per instructions
- Show your face to your phone’s camera as per instructions
- ID verification complete.
- If ID verification fails, this could be because your name in 1CRM does not match the name on the ID you used to verify your identity. If this is the case, you must update your name in 1CRM so it matches your ID name, and you should let the relevant Elevate staffing manager know so they take action, as they will need to approve your legal name request in 1CRM and update your name on the relevant DocuSign envelope/s).
4. You sign your contract in DocuSign:
You can now proceed to sign your contract (or envelope of multiple contracts) in DocuSign.
5. Elevate signs your contract in DocuSign:
Once you sign your contract, the Elevate staffing manager that issued that contract for you will receive a notification from DocuSign letting them know that you signed your contract and it is now their turn to sign it. Please remember that the contract is only complete once you and Elevate sign it. Once it is signed by Elevate, your booking will appear in 1CRM as ‘Contract signed’, and you will be ready to check in and out from your shift.
